History

Starting in 2007 the Inter School Tennis Cup consisted on 4 key Schools in the local community with a handful of teams representing each school. Playing under the Tennis Australia initiative Hot Shots (a junior development program) players were able to enjoy playing a competition that not only made it easy for them to play but to also learn, grow and achieve within the game of Tennis. Since then the competition has included participant records showing 15+ Schools & 230+ participants and expanding.

2017 Details

The 10th Annual Inter School Tennis Cup is being ran in Term 3/4 in 2017.

It is a participation event that allows players to develop in the game of Tennis using ANZ Hot Shots modified equipment, court size and rules.

Played in a ‘Round Robin’ format it gives the players maximum time on court.

Participants get to play with friends in a team that represents their school making it a fun and friendly environment to learn.
