Outdoor X blends indoor and outdoor training. The convenience of resistance and cardiovascular equipment normally found inside the gym, is located outside in a purpose-built shelter dome to provide all year outdoor training.
The area is located amongst the tennis courts, surrounded by nature, with breezes to keep you cool, and the ambience of training outside to keep you motivated.

- Strength to Strength
Weights based class focused on developing your strength and technique of the key compound lifts. The session will utilise all of the weights available, especially the barbells and dumbbells to perform these movements
- HIIT Hybrid
This class is designed to build your functional fitness with a combination of aerobic training and explosive movements. Create a full-body burn with this HIIT workout that utilises bodyweight movements, free weights, machines and other fun functional equipment. With no two workouts ever the same, your fitness will continue to adapt to every new challenge thrown at it!

Classes that combine high-intensity cardio and strength exercises for a specific time period, with rest periods.
- HIIT Cardio
Get your heart pounding and lungs burning with our cardio focused high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. With a combination of bodyweight movements, light weights and cardio machines, this class will transform your cardiovascular fitness with powerful, dynamic movements.
Boxing skills using the bag and pads. Using boxing skills, footwork and skipping to increase cardio fitness and upper body strength.
Wet Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions the sessions may be either moved inside or cancelled. Such conditions would include torrential rain, storms, lightning or hail. Please be aware that if there is light rain sessions will proceed outside and classes will be designed to ensure they can be done in a safe manner.
The decision to cancel a class will be managed by the coaches and OX manager. If a class is changing to indoors this will be posted in the Facebook group. If a class is cancelled it will be updated on the GHRC app and posted in the Facebook group at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled class. If the class is cancelled you are able to use the indoor gym or attend an indoor group fitness class instead.
