Tilly is our Member of the Month for August!
When I started at the gym I didn’t really have a goal of where I wanted to go, I just knew I needed to find a way to keep myself fit and healthy. I have hated just about every sport I have ever tried in my life (not just hate but was dreadful at), so it was so motivating for me to find that lifting weights was a form of exercising that I actually enjoyed.
Over the past year I have committed to coming to the gym 5 days a week and have really pushed myself to get to the point where I am now. Whether I’m having a good day or a bad day I always know I can come to the gym, let off some steam and know I’ll be walking out flushed and sweaty with a smile on my face. I think coming to The GHRC has not only helped me become physically stronger but I have also become mentally stronger.
I can say I have never had a bad experience at the gym, each and every single one of the staff members are so lovely and really know how to make you feel like a part of the GHRC family, special thanks does goes to Junior my PT, his sessions and guidance has been awesome, I think being part of such a positive community really empowers you to become the best version of yourself.
Big shout out to my wonderful father, thank you for always driving me to the gym and for being the best gym buddy and my number one fan. Oh and thanks for paying for my membership too I wouldn’t be here without you!
